As with everything we do at Digital247, we thouroughly believe in providing a fair and honest retail experience for you. We will always endeavour to provide you with this. The following is a statement of our intentions and responsibilities regarding the shipping of your orders. If you have any specific questions or queries, contact us.

Shipping and Delivery


All items are subject to availability. Except as stated herein, we offer delivery services to the United Kingdom, including The Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. We will be happy to help provide delivery options for you.

Although we understand how important it is to maintain up to date shipping costs on our website, charges that cover delivery are subject to change without prior notice. We will of course inform you before dispatch if there are changes. 

The cost of shipping and delivery will be calculated based on your individual purchase and will always be clearly displayed before you make your payment, from within your cart. You may also Calculate Expected Shipping Costs on certain items. The option will be available on screen when this occurs.

Our delivery services are provided by Royal Mail and Parcel Force


Delivery Timeframe
 

On all large or heavy orders - typically over 30kg (for example Large Screen Plasma and LCD TV's), we aim to deliver within 5-7 working days

For all other orders, please expect delivery to take between 3 and 7 working days (again, this is mainly depending on the size of your product) from the date that your order was processed. 

Once your order has been dispatched, we will email you with specific delivery details. You may also be able to track your order in transit through the Parcel Force and Royal Mail Tracking System, when and where available online via their website. 


Guaranteed Next Day Delivery 

When offered, this applies to orders made before 4.00pm on Monday to Thursday only. Orders made on Friday will be delivered on the next working day, in most cases this will be the following Monday. Orders made on the day before public holidays will also be delivered on the next working day. Orders should always be placed before the 4.00pm cut off time to enable us to arrange delivery with our couriers. Applies to payment made with credit/debit card only and payment must have been approved and cleared.

We want you to be completely happy with everything you purchase from Digital247. You really can buy with confidence.  

Returning Items
Items may be returned to ourselves under the 7 working day cooling off period as stated in the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. To cancel your order you are required to send a notice of cancellation in writing or another durable medium, including e-mail, within seven working days from receipt. Please state your customer account number, sale number and reason for cancellation of the goods. We will then issue you with an RA (Returns Authority) number. We regret that we cannot accept telephone cancellations. We assure you that we will respond quickly to your requests.

Returning your goods and our Change of Mind Cancellations Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase choice. If you've made a mistake and decide the product is not right for you, you can cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 7 working days ("working days" means all days other than Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) following the day you receive the goods

To do this, email returns@digital247.co.uk or telephone Customer Services on 0844 357 1099. Please have your order reference number and delivery details to hand.

We will arrange to collect the goods from you.

In order to receive your refund, your product must be complete and in 'as new' condition e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. It must not have been used or installed. It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories you received with it. Pre-recorded videotapes, DVDs, CDs, minidisc, memory cards and software must still be sealed. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.

If you follow the steps above you will receive a full refund of the product price and any delivery charge paid. However, you must pay the following charge for the goods to be collected from you:

  • For large screen TV's (over 22") or other heavy items (Over 25kg's) - £19.99
  • For smaller, lighter items (under 25kg's) - £8.99

If you return two or more product types together, the total cost will be calculated based on the weight of your products, although in the vast majority of cases, only the higher charge will apply .

The collection charge will be taken at the same time we refund your purchase price, once we safely receive the goods and check them.

Exceptions
We cannot cancel your purchase when:

  • There is a contract for services with the product and you have started using the services. This may include include a Sky TV subscription or a mobile phone subscription, for example. 
  • The seal has been broken on any videotapes, DVDs, CDs, minidiscs, memory cards, or software or games, or on any personal hygiene products such as shavers, or the goods were a special order to your specification.

Whilst the goods are in your possession, you must take reasonable care of them and not use them.

 

If you feel you need to return or exchange an item based upon the guidelines published on this page, we will gladly accommodate you. You may return your purchases with the original receipt and original packaging within seven (7) calendar days of the date of purchase. If the item is returned unopened, in the original box, we will exchange it or offer a credit note to the value minus shipping charges. It is your right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods by notifying us of your intentions. Please notify us by e-mail.

If you wish to return an item, follow the instructions below.

Call us on 0844 357 1099 or email customerservices@digital247.co.uk. We will send you a returns form either by post or email. Cut the Returns Label off the end of the form. Retrieve the invoice that relates to the item you are returning.

Pack and seal your item and include your Returns Form and Invoice in the package.
We are unable to process your return without the Returns Form and Invoice.

Postage must be paid by you, (if you are returning a faulty product this will be refunded to you if the product is found to be faulty) We will arrange a return courier (see above) if necessary. If you arrange your own return of goods, include a copy of your postage receipt in the package. We will not accept deliveries without postage paid.

If you return your goods yourself, it is recommended that you insure your parcel when returning it to us. We cannot be held responsible for items you have returned to us that have been damaged in transit, or items that have gone lost in transit that you have returned to us but we have not received.

General Returns

Once we receive your return your credit card will be refunded with the price of the item within 10 working days.

Faulty Goods Returns

When we receive your return it will be tested to check the fault. If it is found to be faulty the product will either be replaced or refunded at our discretion and your postage refunded.

 

Reporting a Fault under Warranty
Should a product we have supplied to you develop a fault, please contact us via email to returns@digital247.co.uk. If it is within 28 days since you made your purchase, we may replace it with an identical model, or if unavailable, an equal alternative at our discretion, free of charge. If the product is outside the initial 28 days, we will arrange for the product to be repaired under the warranty conditions. Please state your customer account number, sale number and as full a description of the fault as possible. We will then contact you with arrangements to repair or replace.
